Austin Asset Management Company is only compensated by fees paid directly by our clients. We do not receive commissions, do not receive payments from third-parties, and have no financial interest in any services or investment products we employ for our clients.
In order to ensure that we remain able to provide highest quality service to our clients, we observe certain minimum thresholds for client relationships:
- Fees for initial comprehensive planning services are based on annual retainers. Initial annual retainer fees of $7,000 to $12,000 are typical and higher fees may apply in more complex situations. A deposit in the amount of the first half of the retainer is required at the outset of our work while the second half is due upon completion and presentation of the comprehensive financial plan.
- A portfolio of liquid investable assets of $1 million is required when it is to be managed by Austin Asset Management Company
For one year from the date of retaining AAMC for comprehensive financial planning a credit of one-half of fees paid will serve as a credit against any asset management fee incurred.

Fees are billed directly to a predetermined discretionary account on a quarterly basis. The fee is calculated each quarter based on the assets under management at the beginning of the quarter. Fees are billed in advance.

Austin Asset Management Company has a minimum annual comprehensive financial planning fee of $7,000.
